This is 500 GSM organic hemp fleece. Organic cotton/hemp blend. Awesome for adding absorbent layers to nappy inserts, sanitary pads etc.

This is not pre-shrunk or pre-washed so will need to be washed before use.

Fabric Preparation Washing Instructions

Shrinking will be minimal. Sold by the metre, when purchasing more than 10 metres the fabric will come to you in 5 metre increments.

Hemp for nappies

I am still in the making stage so cannot comment on how absorbent etc they are. My grandson is eagerly awaiting them for his new baby boy (my first great grandson!). The fabric is too thick for studs so am sewing velcro on. Every thing else is going well. Have plans for the left over hemp fabric - change table mats, potholders (better than the cotton batting I have been using).I think bath/shower mats would work well. At the rate of ideas I may need to buy more!
